Brasshouse at Belleville: Not My Circus! and Skyroku

Melbourne brasshouse sensation Not My Circus! are putting on a free show. Supported by the electronic influenced funk of Skyroku, this is going to be one night of heavy dance grooves that you do not want to miss.

Not My Circus! are an exciting new trio bringing high energy, dance fueled jams to Melbourne. Influenced by New York subway sensations Too Many Zooz, the Not My Circus crew have quickly become a musical sensations all around the city and are in high demand for all kinds of entertainment solutions around Australia.

Skyroku plays electronic influenced funk played by real instruments, featuring synth, guitar, bass, drums and samples. Their originals sound like a cross between the brass-house NYC sound made famous by Too Many Zooz and synth-heavy funk artists such as Prince, Jamiroquai and Parliament, but with an edge-of-your-seat, improvisational flair. The band features some of the best jazz and funk musicians in Melbourne alongside Charnley and Yu, including Kumar Shome (guitar) and Owen Downie (bass).

Set Times: Skyroku - 11:00pm and Not My Circus! - 12:00am.
