Children's Crafternoon: Bush Toys

Using soft grass, colourful wool and some big buttons, you can create almost anything from a small grass lizard to a mighty pair of buffalo horns. The possibilities are endless. Be ready for a fun and playful workshop with fibre-design artist, Adrienne Kneebone. In this class you will be using your hands, sitting and talking, sharing ideas and knowledge to create fun bush toys. You will be taught about the grass collecting and preparing process and a simple wrapping and sculpting technique. Add some stitched on buttons for eyes and you'll be done. Suitable for children aged 6-12 years old.
