French Arias at Deakin Edge

The second half of the nineteenth century saw an extraordinary flowering in French music. Composers including Chausson, Debussy and Fauré transported audiences to previously unimagined worlds of sound, mysterious in their beauty and subtle charm. This concert brings to life exquisite new arrangements of this iconic music, including Debussy’s Clair de lune and Chausson’s Poème.
