Incinerator Art Award Exhibition

The Incinerator Art Award is the Gallery’s annual contemporary art prize featuring 33 works by shortlisted artists from across Australia, inspired by the theme of art for social change. Visitors can explore the 33 shortlisted works including the $10,000 Boathouse Award and $3,000 Incinerator Gallery Award. Visitors can also still vote for the $1,000 People’s Choice Award. The award is inspired by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony, who believed that art and architecture practices are ethical enterprises that should aim to bring about positive social change. An Artist and Curator talk will be held on Saturday 20 October at 2:00pm.
