Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition 2018

Established in 1991 and staged every four years, the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition is one of the most prestigious events of its kind. Sixteen brilliant young ensembles from around the world arrive to compete for more than $150,000 in cash and prizes and the chance to launch their international career.

Melbourne Recital Centre and the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) play host for a week of your favourite repertoire, and the world premieres of two specially commissioned works by Australian composers Holly Harrison and Paul Stanhope.
