The National Boys Choir of Australia is performing its 2018 Mid-Year Concert.
The NBCA’s programme will include works by Lorenzo Perosi, César Franck and C.V. Stanford. Other works to be presented are Old American Songs—two suites by Aaron Copland—and choral selections from Oliver. The Lord Bless You and Keep You by English composer John Rutter, as featured in the recent nuptials of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will also be performed.
The National Boys Choir of Australia, established in 1964, is recognised internationally and locally as one of Australia’s finest children’s choirs. Some of NBCA’s past choristers include Principal Conductor for Adelaide Symphony Orchestra Nicholas Carter, Mannheim-based opera singer Christopher Diffey-Wilson, Australian tour manager, record producer and studio engineer Nikita Miltiadou and Harry Angus, singer/songwriter and composer for internationally-acclaimed Australian band The Cat Empire.
