School Holidays: The World Turned Upside Down

Inspired by the exhibition Sitelines: Natasha Johns-Messenger, young creatives will explore one of the earliest uses of photography by making their own camera obscura. A simple scientific device used to capture an image of the world, the camera obscura focuses light to project an upside down reflection of the world, which can then be traced to create accurate drawings. Suitable for high school children, ages 11 to 16. BYO smock
